What does weight lifting do to your body?

Did you know weight lifting burns more calories than cardio? According to Ali Eaves, being in shape is easy but the best way to do it is by weight lifting.

Many people think weight training and bodybuilding are the same thing but they are not. Weight training is to improve your strength. Bodybuilding is where you lift heavy amounts multiple times until the muscles start to build to their liking.  Working out has been proven down to a science. To be healthier than the average human you are advised to work out around thirty to forty-five minutes a day.  Many sports in today’s society include weight training. In baseball, they lift. In football, they lift. In basketball, they lift. In track, they lift. Weight lifting is a very important factor to include in the workout regiment.

I spoke with some students in the gym to gain insight into the impact of weight training:

How many calories do you eat a day? I’m not certain but I’d say around 2,250 calories.

Flex! Did you know  that the average human that lifts has a lower chance of dying prematurely (Eaves)? Lifting weights makes it to where you have a 46% less of a chance of dying prematurely. So my advice is to lift more like some of these people, because if you do you may live longer.
