An Overview of Argentina

Argentina is a republic in South America, it is the 8th largest country in the world and the world’s largest Spanish-speaking nation. It is comprised of 23 provinces, their capital is Buenos Aires, as decided by their Congress, they each have their own constitution but exist under a federal system. For those who would possibly visit Argentina, there are many things to do depending on the time of year and place, there are mountains to climb and ski on there are beaches to swim at and other various tourist destinations. Argentina is a beautiful country with amazing sights and many fun and interesting activities to engage in, for those wanting to visit it would be a very good choice and would lead to a fun adventure for most anyone to enjoy.

When visiting a good place to start would be the capital, Buenos Aires it has many cultural significant areas and tourist attractions that may interest you, such as: La Boca, (a working class area with many attractions like street artists, a modern art museum, a football stadium, and many restaurants to visit.) The presidential palace, Casa Rosada which has tours and is the workplace and sometimes home of the president. Cementerio de la Recoleta it contains the graves of past presidents, Nobel prize winners, the founder of the Argentine Navy, a granddaughter of Napoleon, and many statues. Buenos Aires also has many art museums, theaters, and a plentiful supply of local restaurants and attraction.

Argentina also has many other attractions outside of Buenos Aires, such as the Perito Moreno Glacier, named after the explorer Francisco Moreno, where there is hiking and wonderful sights to enjoy. There’s the Iguazu national park which has waterfalls and even more beautiful sights and waterfall walks. Not to mention the Quebrada de Hamahuaca a multi-hued rock formation with stunning sights and many beautiful colors to experience on the rocks. And many more things to experience to name a few the Punta Tombo a protected penguin reserve, the Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi a national park with lakes and forests, the Cerro Catedral a mountain with many ski slopes, and many more things to enjoy, even a Japanese garden.

To conclude Argentina is a beautiful country and would be a great place to visit for its beautiful sights and many fun activities to engage in.
