In Housing and Interior Design, the students designed Ms. Egge’s basement living room. The reason why she let the class create her living room was, “I had no clue what to do with it and it was a great opportunity for the kids.” 

The students used the principles and elements of design to create a nice living space for her and her friends. She provided them with some color ideas and what she did and didn’t want. “I hope to get inspiration and some design ideas and to hopefully implement their plans.”

Ms. Egge then got to choose her favorite designs that the students created from each of the periods. The chosen designs will be featured in the Williston District #7 newsletter. She will use the designs she chose and implement them when actually designing her basement. Congratulations Jeslyn Hendrickson for winning the basement design competition!
