Pops concert is where students that are in any band or choir classes get the opportunity to sing or play songs that they are interested in. Once there are enough students signed up they begin auditions then after a couple of days the judges post a list of who made it into the concert. Noelia Salcedo said”The thought of people waiting to hear me sing filled me with anxiety and excitement simultaneously. As I walked on stage peering into the sea of people It felt as though my heart was going to beat out of my chest but as the keys began to play and all my worries went away” This year it took place on March 28th in the schools theater. There are different genres of music at Pops that definitely make it worth the watch from modern upbeat music to slow classics.
