Mr. Meisel’s Travels

When asking where he had been, Mr. Meisel told me he had visited mostly South America and that it was more comfortable for him because he could speak the language and had an easier time communicating with the people. He also said that the most fascinating were the places with the most diverse geography and cultures, and more dessert places like Chile, and Peru, and that also he would make it up as he went along, to just get there and figure out what’s next later and that it was the best and most fun way to travel.

Mr. Meisel also visited some European countries, his favorites were Spain and France but he didn’t have as good of experience there because he was studying at university but liked it because there wasn’t a language barrier and the people there treated him nice.

In addition, Mr. Meisel visited Germany and was surprised to learn that they aren’t as businesslike and proper as they are shown in media but are actually more laid back as we are

In the United States, he wanted to visit 50 states before 50 and he completed that and said that most people around the U.S are nice but has bad apples just like anywhere else. Mr. Meisel says that, for the U.S., the best is in the west and that it is the most interesting with its deserts and mountains.

To wrap up the interview, Mr. Meisel wanted to say that he encourages everyone to get out and explore new places and to discover the world for yourself instead of only reading about it or hearing about it.
