What do you see when you look in the mirror?
April 26, 2019
What do you see when you look at yourself in the mirror? Do you see a person who is awesome, fantastic, loved, chosen, full of potential and who has a great destiny? The leadership principle of the mirror invites us to be aware that we must see value in our self if we want to add to our self. So why is it so difficult for so many people to grow personally, spiritually and professionally? Do we under-evaluate who and what we truly are?
When I look at myself in the mirror, I see my own face, I see exactly who I am as I stare my eyes- the imperfect me, the awesome me, the sad me, the happy me, the week me and the strong me. I see myself and realize that I made up of different emotion. I also see how far I’ve come, from where I start, and where I’m heading. I thank God for everything.
People just don’t the possibilities that God has put in them. That’s why I enjoy investing my time in adding value to people and helping them discover the hidden potential in each of us. If we have difficulty seeing value in our self, we will not have the determination and perseverance to invest the necessary time and effort to grow and reach our full potential. For low self-esteem puts a ceiling on our potential and people are never able to outperform their self-image.
I want to take this opportunity to remind you that you have tremendous value. You have been awesome, fantastic, loved, chosen and full of potential. You are a change agent in whom it’s worth investing. I discovered that If I understand my identity, then I am propelled into the destiny that God has prepared which is a way beyond my imagination and my wildest dream.
Now, I’m asking you again, What do you see when you look at yourself in the mirror.?
