Sadly, School shootings are going viral and because of this crisis, schools are practicing school shooting drills for the safety of staff and students. The idea of drills are to help people know what to do and how to react in a emergency, such as school shootings. Not only is it suppose to inform students and staff, it is ultimately designed to protect everyone from the person causing the threat.

Williston High School is planning on practicing a school shooting drill sometime soon. However, we are concerned that we have not had a drill and school is almost over. Police officers are available in the school everyday, but they can’t protect everyone at the same time. Doors are locked in the mornings, but there isn’t enough protection around the school, such as not enough officers and lack of knowledge about drills. Would you know what to do?
