Mrs. Hall’s Mock Election of 1912
November 15, 2019
Mrs. Hall’s US History classes created Mock Elections of 1912:
“This was the first election in history when a 3rd party candidate (Theodore Roosevelt ran as a Progressive Party candidate) had a major impact of the election results. Students play the roles of Democrat Woodrow Wilson, Republican William Taft, Progressive Theodore Roosevelt, and Socialist Eugene Debs. Each bid of the White House is led by a campaign manager and loyal supporters who organize posters and other campaign materials. Other students are uncommitted voters who are lured by the candidates and campaigns.” ~Mrs. Hall
