What is it like inside the walls of Williston High during this pandemic? A lot has happened this past year. We left school for Spring Break, but never came back. We had to be quarantined at home, only available to doing online school. But our amazing school administrators, and teachers have made it safe for all of us to come back two times per week.

We have many differences in our daily lives at school during this time. Our teachers have put out hand sanitizing stations inside and outside of their classrooms for us to stay healthy and clean. They also take the time to sanitize each and everyone of our desks, the class equipment, and much more, so we can feel safe.

There are now X’s and stickers on the floor of our hallways, bathrooms, lunch lines, lunch tables, and even the library and office, so we can all social distance and stay safe! We have changed the back stairs for when we need to go down and the main stairs for when we need to go up.

It’s crazy how few students there are here everyday. Remember how many people there would be on the stairs, in the hallways, and in class? Even the parking lot is empty! There are so few cars! But all these differences and rules aren’t going to affect us in a negative way. Let’s make this school year the best one yet, Coyotes!
