The dress code is something that the school needs to focus more on as a school in general. Dress codes get broken everyday.
WHS school dress code from the handbook says “The use of language, hand signals, graffiti, tattoos, haircuts, or the presence of any wearing apparel, bandanas, footwear, jewelry, accessory, or manner of grooming which, by virtue of color, arrangement, trademark, symbol or any other attribute indicates or implies membership or affiliation with such a group is hereby prohibited.”
“No kids at school should be there to show their bodies, only should be there to learn. And on top of that there should not be a single adult out there comfortable looking at a half dressed girl or boy” said Michelle Bailey, a parent of a student at WHS.
“Even if you follow the dress code it doesn’t get rid of the hierarchy because the clothes pricing stays the same. It depends more on the appropriateness” said Mrs.Kari Hall, a teacher at WHS.
The school dress code should be more strict and the adults should enforce the dress code more.
