The WHS girls soccer team has two seniors this season, Emma Shockley and Mya Seymour. Emma Shockley is the goalie for the high school team and this is her second season playing soccer for WHS. Emma Shockley said ” My favorite thing about soccer was the away games. I will miss the team bonding we did and all the funny jokes we made about Coach Stanley’s name. My plans after graduation are to go play college soccer and then hopefully major in sport management.” Mya Seymour is a midfielder for the high school team and this is her fourth season playing for WHS. Mya Seymour said “My favorite thing about the soccer season is the friendships that come with it, i’m going to miss playing with said friends, and i plan to work as a camp counselor in the summer and then go to college in Iowa to play soccer.” We will miss these seniors and wish them the best of luck in the future!
