Freshman Fear Week

Freshman+Fear+Week

Breanna Willeford & Cassandra Webb, WHS Reporters

Williston High School’s first day of school was the 22nd of August. WHS welcomed many students, especially the new freshmen, to the school. We interviewed some freshmen and asked them how their first week of school was going, along with their thoughts and opinions on both the move to the high school and the added class levels of students around them.

We spoke with freshmen students Josh Watson and Jase Radke.  Both stated they are looking forward to the new school year.

Josh Watson is from Fresno, California and said he was worried his locker wouldn’t open. Josh is looking forward to meeting new people in the high school and likes the “Bring Your Own Device” situation because he can download games and play on his device.

Thankfully, Jase Radke managed to figure out his locker! Jase is originally from California, but has lived in Williston, North Dakota most of his life.  Jase shared some of his interests: meeting new people, football, and the history classes. His favorite thing about high school is football. He plans to join choir, football and wrestling during his freshman year. He also puts Mr. Skinner’s art class as his number one class thus far!

Williston High Journalism wishes all the freshman students luck and a great first year at WHS!
