The Stalker

Shady Pereyda, WHS Reporter

You wake up for the morning and start doing your routine with taking a shower you jump in and it’s cold! There’s no hot water Ugh, you sigh slowly, living alone you wonder like how is there no hot water. Fastly you finish taking the shower and forgot to get a towel. You run fast as possible by the big balcony where people can see inside from the street. While passing, you see someone staring inside with ah and awkward eye contact. Quickly you grab a towel from the laundry room and now wrapped into a towel. Walking back to the bathroom the guy had disappeared like you never saw him. Getting dress in the bathroom thinking maybe he just kept walking as nothing happened. It’s the afternoon already and you need to go shopping with the girls! You go and catch the bus and getting on there are only two people suspiciously a female and male. You are walking past the guy and he looks familiar. You realize he’s the guy from the window, you start blushing, and walking as fast as you can. Hoping he wouldn’t remember you, but he’s staring at you directly and saying nothing. You keep walking, ignoring him staring but you have this urge to ask him why. Eventually, the lady gets off at her stop, it’s just you and the guy, and he’s turned around looking at you. Trying to keep yourself distracted you put your headphones in on full blast. The bus stops again and it’s your stop, walking past him you avoid eye contact. While getting off you realize he’s also getting off too and you try to find your friends fast. When looking for them you walk into different stores like a zigzag to be sure he’s following you. He’s going the same way and into the same stores. You call one of your friends to see where they are and one says the plans changed didn’t you see the texts? No, I didn’t can you come to pick me up though i think this guy is following me! You’re waiting for your friend in the lounge area, hoping to not see the guy. There he is walking up to you. Maybe to say something? Here it is he’s in front of you and…. Your friend was too late and showed up to a crime scene with an ongoing investigation of the known killing stalker.
