The WHS boys and girls cross country teams had a very successful season this year. On the coaches polls at the beginning of the year, Fynn Krenz, Ivan Askim, and Ethan Moe were all in the top ten. The boys cross country team went undefeated the whole season and won first place at state for the second year in a row with a score of 46 points. The boys’ team had 5 All-State runners. Fynn Krenz received 2nd place; Ivan Askim, 5th place; Ethan Moe, 6th; Thomas Haskins, 15th; and Kolden Kringen in 18th place. 

The WHS girls cross country team won their third straight championship this season. For girls coaches polls, Cambree Moss (8th Grade), was ranked 7th. The girls placed 4th place at WDA, but the team pulled off a win at state with a score of 93 points. The team had 3 All-State runners. Cambree Moss, placed 6th place; Marenn Larsen placed 9th; and Angela Wold placed 12th. 

Both teams had a very successful season.
