November Blood Drive

Joey Dickson, WHS Reporter

The first blood drive of the school year was a success with 37 units of blood collected out of a goal of 42, and only 8 no-shows out of the 54 who signed up. The majority of blood donations will be going to cancer patients here in Williston. Thank you to the health science classes for assisting in the blood drive, collecting donations, snacks, and drinks for student donators; along with a big thanks to Vitalant for coming to the school to collect blood donations. The next blood drive will be in April if you are looking to donate blood to those in need.
