25 students were inducted into Quill & Scroll on Tuesday, March 29, at 6:30. Quill & Scroll is an international honorary society for high school journalists, this is the first Quill & Scroll ceremony at WHS since 1959. Student journalists that are in the top of their respective classes and have shown prowess in the journalism field were inducted, seniors received their cords for graduation, the chief editors spoke about the year, initiates received their certificates and pins, and students who lettered in yearbook were honored. Lexi Grimmer says, “I’m excited to have that with me when I walk for graduation next year.” Congratulations to the students in journalism and yearbook who were initiated.

“I’m proud of the students and everything they’ve accomplished, they’ve worked their butts off to get inducted and I’m honored to give them the chance to wear Quill and Scroll cords at graduation” – Ms. Schlecht
