    Baltimore Key Bridge Collapse

Bridge in Baltimore collapses after being hit by cargo boat

The Key Bridge in Baltimore Maryland built in 1977 was struck by a cargo boat Tuesday morning at 1:30 am, they said that the cargo boat lost power and started steering into the bridge, you could even see the lights on the boat turning on and off right before it struck the bridge and it ended up collapsing shortly after,

They’ve sent out the National Guard to search for people who are still alive and so far they have only found 2 body’s. 6 have also been presumed dead b because they were the boat workers and no one can find them. They have been looking for 3 days and the focus now turns to investigating what happened and reopening the channel as quickly and as safely as possible.

Baltimore’s mayor said that at least eight people went into the water. Two were rescued but the other six, part of a construction crew that had been filling potholes on the bridge, were missing and presumed dead.
