You & Me

You leave a smile on my face, fill my gray with grace
You give me these butterflies everytime i see you
No wonder why i always wanna be near you
But you make my mind wander when you say certain things
You make me happy when all I want to do is scream
You make me laugh to the point where i can’t breathe
You make me feel safe when you are next to me
And make me give you a look no other has seen
We’ve already been through so much it’s hard to believe
But these feelings just don’t seem to leave
So i’m just curious of what we could really be
We can choose to be lonely or we can choose to be free
But in all honesty I think there could be a you and me
