Climate Change: A Serious Problem

Climate Change: A Serious Problem

Daryl Andrada, WHS Reporter

Nature is beautiful and we are all stewards of God’s creation. It is very important because we need nature in order to live. But people are getting more violent. The one that helps people to live is being abused. This caused Climate Change.

Climate change is a change in global or regional patterns. Climate change is already affecting the planet and society and will continue to do so for the generation to come. The physical and chemical changes of human activities are being felt in natural ecosystems on the land and at sea, even in farms. Differences in how regions are affected by varying degrees of warming, precipitation, and changes in animal and plant species are likely to get even more extreme as climate change continue.

Global climate change has already had observable effects on Earth. Melting of polar ice caps caused by global warming is a tremendous problem. This causes a rise in sea levels. Melting of polar ice cups is destroying the habitat of polar bears. Scientists have high confidence that global temperature will continue to rise for decades to come, largely due to greenhouse gases produced by humans. Global climate is projected to continue to change over this century and beyond.

Climate Change causes hurricanes to become more intense and stronger. The relative contributions of human and natural causes to these increases are still uncertain. Hurricane-associated storm intensity and rainfall rates are predicted to increase as the climate continues to warm.

Wake up, people! Mother Earth needs us. Let’s make our world a better place to live. Start planting trees for the future to come. Trees absorb carbon dioxide that causes pollution. Use our energy wisely- less money: unplug all appliances that are not in use. Let’s spread awareness about climate change to people. We are the Earth Savers!
